Investment Analyst & Associate Tech PE fund

Our client is a leading private equity firm specialising in technology investments. They are now looking for an Investment Analyst & Associate to join their dynamic team.

Investment Analyst:

Responsibilities:

• Identify and analyse high-growth potential companies across the technology landscape.
• Develop comprehensive financial models and investment theses.
• Support due diligence processes, including data analysis, industry research, and competitor assessments.
• Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with portfolio monitoring and value creation initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 Years experience within a tech M&A team at a bulge bracket or elite boutique, or currently working in a PE fund as an Investment analyst in the tech space.
• Top-tier degree in finance, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling.
• Excellent research and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their potential impact on various industries.

Associate:

Responsibilities:

• Source and originate potential investment opportunities through proactive networking and market research.
• Lead and manage due diligence processes, coordinating with internal and external resources.
• Develop and present compelling investment proposals to the investment committee.
• Manage relationships with portfolio companies, monitoring their performance and supporting value creation initiatives.
• Contribute to fundraising activities and investor presentations.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in Private Equity or VC with tech sector focus.
• Proven track record of deal sourcing and execution.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
• Deep knowledge of the technology sector and its investment landscape.
